Symphyotrichum ciliolatum, also known as heart-leaved aster is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 3 feet tall and flowers from August to September with a blue blossom.
It prefers partial sun to full shade, medium to dry soil and will grow in clay, loam or sand.
