Description
Eutrochium purpureum, also known as sweet joe pye weed is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 5 feet tall and flowers from August to September with a pink blossom.
It prefers partial sun to full shade, medium moisture soil and will grow in clay, loam or sand.
