Description
Pycnanthemum virginianum, also known as mountain mint is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 3 feet tall and flowers from June to September with a white blossom.
It prefers full sun to partial shade, medium to wet soil and will grow in muck, clay or loam.
Mountain mint can be found in our Shoreline Garden Kit because it both stabilizes the soil and attracts native butterflies and pollinators. It is also part of our Wildflower Garden Kit and Monarch Way Station Garden Kit!
