Rudbeckia subtomentosa, also known as sweet black-eyed susan is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 5 feet tall and flowers from August to October with a yellow blossom.
It prefers full sun to partial shade, medium to dry soil and will grow in muck, clay, loam or sand.
